Join the Friends of the Tanger Arboretum as they kick off their 2023 Nature Series on Saturday, April 8 with "Growing Community through Urban Agriculture!" Presenter Madison Walter, urban agriculture coordinator for the New Castle Conservation District, will review what urban agriculture is, the different forms it takes, and the surprising impacts it can make within a community. Participants will learn about how urban agriculture projects transform spaces and empower individuals to reclaim ownership of their environment. Walk away feeling inspired to get your hands dirty and grow something new this year!

Children 17 years or younger must be accompanied by a paying Adult 18 years or older.
