History Happy Hour

What did Penn Square look like 250 years ago? Grab a drink at The Exchange, offering some of the best panoramic views of Lancaster City's historic center, and learn about the streets surrounding Penn Square in the 1700s and 1800s. Historian and curator Stephanie Townrow will bring the City's past to life, tracing some of the people, taverns, markets, and businesses that once filled these bustling blocks. Along the way, you'll discover surprising traces of history still hiding in plain sight...and you'll never look at downtown Lancaster the same way again!

Doors open at 5pm, with the program following at 5:30pm. Event concludes at 7pm. 

Tickets are $35/each and include the first drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available), lite bites by The Exchange, and access to the program led by LancasterHistory's Stephanie Townrow.

This event is suggested for ages 21 years and older.
